Scripture Memory Challenge, II & III

Wow, what a full last week it's been! It felt overwhelmingly busy at times, but looking back, I found it was absolutely worth all the preparation and prayer. Over 50 ladies came together at our home over the course of the weekend to quote the books of Romans and Philippians. The preteen ladies met Friday and quoted through Philippians, and the single teens-and-up ladies met Saturday to quote through Romans. Both groups generated such an inspiring enthusiasm over the word of God, and I was blessed by the different insights and perspectives shared as we learned more about contentment on Friday and meditation on Saturday in our discussion time.

Nadia and Alexa showed great teamwork! Mrs. Hartung said while they were weeding the garden, the two girls were quoting over and over together their assigned portion. :)

What a wonderful group of preteen ladies!!

Last time we had a formal brunch following the quoting of Proverbs, and this time we had a formal tea party after the recitation. Everyone brought the most delightful pastries and sweets! Wow!

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

Romans 15:4-5

Thank you, Hannah Hanson (and Jewel!), for the beautiful photography!
