Scripture Memory Challenge, I

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Proverbs 3:1

On September 15th, young ladies (along with the help of some mothers) from our church participated in a Proverbs Recitation Brunch. Each lady was diligent in memorizing at least 1 chapter from the book of Proverbs with the anticipation of quoting their section for the event. It was such an inspiring time to hear one chapter after another being quoted by memory from ladies who have laid up the Word in their hearts,

whose countenances give testimony to their personal relationship with the Saviour,

and whose fellowship is so sweet.

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Proverbs 3:2

Thank you to all who helped so willingly and cheerfully!

Thank you to all the kitchen help, especially to the main cook who faithfully shares a servant spirit

(even weeks from delivery!!)

and to the abundance of photos taken by Hannah Hanson.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Proverbs 3:3
