A Reminder to Pray!

Today the building committee, deacons, and pastor are meeting again to discuss plans for our church's new building and I know so much prayer is needed on their behalf! We've had the privilege of hosting their meetings a few times and as I've taken a peek into their meeting room, I've been reminded of the incredible blessing of having godly men working together to discern the Lord's leading for all of us.

Especially to those of our church, let's remember to constantly uphold our leaders in prayer. There are so many ways we can pray for them, but most importantly, pray they would accurately discern God's will - that it would be confirmed by the unity of spirit they experience, and that God would grant our highest desire: that HE would be glorified and magnified in all things, equipping our church in every way possible to reach farther and deeper in to our own "Jerusalem".

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
I Peter 2:9-10
