The View from My Window...

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

This passage has been such a minister of peace to me, to remind me that God's mercies are new every morning!! We have the grace we need for today and today only, but if the sun should rise again tomorrow morning, we know He will be faithful to send His mercy once again; to be compassionate towards a quiet, seeking soul.

Thank you all so much for your prayers! God’s hand was notably on our travel, as we arrived just 2 hours before little William was born! God’s hand was over Sarah and the midwives, over John Paul and over the baby. I hope I never forget the miracle of life being brought into this world! It is such a testimony to the present working of our Creator to this very day; that He has not done marvelous things just in times passed, but that He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

On Our Way~

Sarah called this morning to tell us she's been having significant contractions-- our cue to hop in to the car and abandon the boys at home! :) Mom, Melissa, Jewel and I are heading to Missouri to hopefully be there with Sarah in time, if she does indeed go into labor! I'm *very* excited but also request your prayers for:

- Sarah and the baby
- A healthy birth
- Wisdom for the midwife
- Our travel to and from Missouri

I don't know that we'll have internet access while we're gone, but I'm sure you'll all be up to date by word of mouth!
