A Merry Heart

Our family has had a practice for many years now of reading the "chapter of the day" in Proverbs. Since today is the 15th, this lead me to read Proverbs chapter 15 this morning, where I was especially encouraged by these 4 verses:

[4] A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

[13] A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

[23] A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

[30] The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.

Leslie Quijano is a wonderful example to me of one who has a merry heart!
